This movie is an insult to cinema. I know it's only a summer blockbuster
I don't go into the theater expecting an award winning film, but I do expect
a plot, well rounded characters,and great special effects. Transformers had
one of the three can you guess which one? Micheal Bay didn't do shit for this
movie I am positive that the crew made shit up as they went along. I wasn't to
keen on the first movie I just thought it was an ok action flick kinda dumb and
hard to follow but the amazing effects made up for it. I was actually excited for
this one when I saw the trailer and was blown away, but seriously I want to see
a good transformers movie not this horseshit.

Bay spent to much focus on the human characters and not on any of the transformers.
Let me give you a hint Micheal the franchise you are adapting is called TRANSFORMERS
not shia labeouf being stupid and Meagan Fox being hot. I didn't mind the focus on
the human in the first film because it was an origin story it needed to be there,
but god this film could have achieved so much more and it pissed me off that Bay just
blow it off because he knew it would make bank. The humor in this film was just as bad
I didn't laugh once. What it comes down to is this movie was made for the frat boy in
mind, bodily fluid jokes, dick jokes and hot ass women.

rating: don't waste your time
if you want to get your transformers fix watch the old series

I enjoyed this movie, there I said it.
Was this a well done movie? Hell no, not even close it was a complete MESS(notice how I capitalize mess).
The writing was very cliched and because of this the acting wasn't as good as it should have been
Fox also changed multiple character's history's and powers, as well as killing off as many main characters as they pleased(sorry cyclops).
The effects looked very cheap and sloppy and I excepted some decent looking effects, at some point I'm pretty sure wolverine's claws came right out of an animated TV show. I have to say the first 20 or so minutes of the film was my favorite, but as soon as Logan got his metal claws the movie came to the point of-

"What the hell can we do now?"

"Well we could throw in a bunch of fan service and cameos of some mutants."

And that's exactly what happened.
Although there was A LOT of things completely wrong with this film I did absolutely love the opening credit scene.

overall: low matinee
better than X3(god that movie should burn in internal hell), but
not even in the same ball park as X1 and X2.
